Ben Carson Gets Stuck in an Elevator

Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson and his wife got stuck in an elevator when visiting a Miami public housing development this morning. Carson was supposed to meet NBA player Alonzo Mourning, who co-developed the housing complex, but Mourning was running a little late. So, Public Housing Director Michael Liu started showing Carson around without him. They enjoyed a game of foosball before heading to the elevator to check out the roof. But when they came back down, the elevator doors apparently jammed.

But Carson handled the incident well, and when he headed to another stop at the Collins Park Apartments he made sure that their elevator was functioning. “Do we have the key?” he asked before getting in.
