With great fame comes great...er chances of being sued. Nobody knows this fact better than celebrities, and 2016 was no different. This past year we saw some of our most beloved stars entangled in celebrity court battles ranging from the bizarre to the just plain wrong. For the sake of nostalgia, here are our picks for the top celebrity legal battles of 2016!

Speaking of Blac Chyna, her son’s father Tyga (boyfriend of Kylie Jenner….yeah it’s a weird family tree) continued to have financial troubles throughout 2016. Tyga was sued for $150,000 over missed Ferrari payments–a vehicle that had reportedly already been repossessed twice.
The cash-strapped emcee still owes a former landlord $182,275.89, and in August, he settled a $480,000 lawsuit from another former landlord for back rent only after a bench warrant was issued when he failed to appear in court for the case.
