Samsung keeps having problems with phones that blow up. Yesterday a Southwest Airlines flight from Louisville to Baltimore had to be evacuated at the gate because of a smoking phone–the infamous Samsung Galaxy Note 7. What made matters even worse was that this was a replacement phone that was supposed to be safe–the owner received it after turning in his old one.
The batteries in the Samsung phones have recently been blowing up, catching on fire, and injuring people, leading the Korean company to recall the Note 7 in September just weeks after launching it.

But if even the replacement phones blow up–and on airplanes, which are like the worst places to start a fire–this looks pretty dark for Samsung.
