Ivanka Reveals in New Book That She Can’t Always Get a Massage

Today, Ivanka Trump’s new book was released–“Women Who Work.” Most of it was written before her father became president. Excerpts from the book have been published online, and a lot of people are already slamming it for being out of touch with regular working moms who aren’t billionaires. One line in the book reads, “Women who work are real.”

Ivanka describes her work during the campaign as “going into survival mode”–she didn’t even have time to “meditate.” “I worked and I was with my family; I didn’t do much else. Honestly, I wasn’t treating myself to a massage or making much time for self-care.” But that a working mother of three would have much time to get a massage at all sounded like a joke to many.
