President Donald Trump is trying to stop a lawsuit by former “Apprentice” contestant Summer Zervos, who filed a lawsuit against him in January. Zervos claims that Trump publicly defamed her by calling her a “liar” after she alleged that he sexually assaulted her in 2007. But Trump’s attorneys are arguing that a sitting president can’t be sued in a state court. Trump’s longtime attorney Marc Kasowitz will file briefs in New York’s Supreme Court to try and stop the suit. But this is also a busy time for Trump, legally speaking–he’s facing 50 lawsuits in relation to his travel ban.
