RantCrush Top 5: March 24, 2017

In a recent episode of her show “The Mindy Project,” Mindy Kaling took a small jab at Newark, New Jersey and Senator Cory Booker. Apparently Booker saw it, because he called her out on Twitter and posted a heartbroken message.

Kaling answered and the conversation immediately turned warmer.

Encouraged by that, the senator appeared to ask Kaling out on a date:

She responded by asking for the PATH Train schedule, which would allow her to get from New York to New Jersey, and whoever runs the PATH Train’s Twitter account gladly assisted by posting a link. So…did we just all witness the beginning of a hot new political couple?
