Yesterday, the president seemed to fall back into his old role as beauty pageant mogul while on the phone with Ireland’s new Prime Minister Leo Varadkar. He was making the phone call in the Oval Office to congratulate Varadkar on his victory, when Irish reporter Caitriona Perry caught his eye. Trump gestured for her to come up to his desk, and said, “We have all of this beautiful Irish press, where are you from?” After she told him, Trump told the Irish Prime Minister, “Caitriona Perry, she has a nice smile on her face, so I bet she treats you well.” The internet was immediately creeped out.
