Over the weekend an unexpected voice took the opportunity to address some world leaders via Twitter ahead of the upcoming G20 summit in Hamburg, Germany. Music artist Rihanna pointed to the importance of education funding in a string of tweets directed at France, Canada, Germany, and Argentina.
In March, Rihanna won an award from Harvard for her humanitarian work, and considering that she has 74 million Twitter followers, this could be a great way to highlight important issues. And at least one leader actually answered the celebrity:
