Bill Cosby Will Teach Young People How to Not Get Charged With Sex Crimes

Yes, you read that right. After his trial ended in a hung jury, Bill Cosby will spend the summer holding town halls around the country to speak to young people about how they can avoid getting accused of sex crimes. His spokesperson, Andrew Wyatt, said that since statutes of limitations are getting extended for sex crimes, it is important to educate young men. “A brush against the shoulder, anything at this point, can be considered sexual assault and it’s a good thing to be educated about the laws,” Wyatt said. So basically, it sounds like Cosby is going to inform young men about how to not get caught…when really the purpose should be to encourage young people not to assault one another.

“You know, this issue can affect any young person, especially young athletes of today,” said Wyatt. “They need to know what they’re facing when they’re hanging out and partying, when they’re doing certain things that they shouldn’t be doing, and it also affects, you know, married men.” Gloria Allred, who has represented some of Cosby’s accusers, said this is an apparent attempt to try to influence any prospective new jurors for Cosby’s next trial. But most people are just shocked that he would be this tone deaf.
