The rumors of Trevor Noah’s death have been greatly exaggerated. It was reported that the “Daily Show” host was shot while greeting fans after performing in Orlando by a website called “Houston News.” But Noah is very much alive, and the fake story appeared to have mimicked the death of singer Christina Grimmie. Fake stories about stars’ deaths are not unusual, and similar rumors claimed Noah had died in a car crash a few months ago. But Noah still responded with some of his usual comedic flair:
