Former Staffer Indicted for Spreading Nude Photos of Congresswoman Stacey Plaskett

A former congressional staffer was indicted yesterday for stealing private nude photos and videos from his boss’ cellphone and spreading them online. Juan McCullum allegedly claimed he was going to help Stacey Plaskett, the Virgin Islands delegate to Congress, fix her iPhone by taking it to an Apple store, but instead he unlocked it and took the photos. He then created a fake email account in order to send the pictures to the media and other politicians, as well as posting them online on a fake Facebook account. McCullum is now facing charges of cyberstalking, and another former staffer is charged with obstruction of justice for deleting text messages she received from him. McCullum was previously on the reality show “I Love New York” and was named number five in the Hill’s list over the “50 Most Beautiful” people in politics in 2015. Plaskett said she believes the spreading of her photos was politically motivated.
