The Clintons and Bushes Will Attend Donald Trump’s Inauguration

Yesterday, the Clintons and the Bushes declared that they would attend the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump on January 20. Though this election was brutal, the Clintons used to be friendly with the Trumps. They attended Donald’s wedding to Melania in 2005, hung out at tennis tournaments and dinners, and their daughters are good friends.

It’s customary for former presidents to attend the inauguration, and since Hillary is married to Bill, she is coming along. Maybe this is a sign that the two are ready to bury the hatchet.

George W. Bush also said yesterday that he and Laura Bush would attend, and Jimmy Carter has already announced that he’ll be in attendance as well.
