Feel Unsafe at a Bar? Here’s What to Do

A couple of restaurants have started hanging this poster in the women’s restroom, urging people who don’t feel safe on a date or who may have found themselves in a potentially risky situation to order an “Angel” shot or ask for “Angela.”

“Angel” and “Angela” act as codewords for the bartender–who would then assist the individual in whatever way is most fitting for the situation.
