Rotten Tomatoes Gets a Bad Review of Its Own

Rotten Tomatoes is under fire for a slew of negative reviews published by critics of the movie “Suicide Squad.” The film hasn’t even been released to the public yet and it’s already causing a stir. Rotten Tomatoes, one of the most reliable review aggregator sites out there, currently has a 33 percent rating for the film. Ouch!

Fans who don’t agree have launched a Change.org petition to shut down the site. Ridiculous, right? Who’s gonna shut down the site over this? Well, the petition has gathered more than 18,000 signatures so far. And its creator, despite the name of the cause, doesn’t actually want to shut down the site, rather he’d like to send a message to RT execs that their site ruins films for viewers by negatively influencing their opinions.

Makes sense, I mean, these ARE diehard fans, after all. “Suicide Squad” debuts Friday.
