Police Brilliantly Urge People to “Romaine Calm” After Lettuce Theft

Police in Hamilton, Ontario, are urging the public to “romaine calm” after a huge lettuce theft that took place sometime between 8 p.m. on March 31 and 4 p.m. on April 1. According to investigators, a truck and trailer were stolen containing $45,000 worth of lettuce. Allegedly, the thieves drove the truck to Toronto and left it there, but the trailer and all the lettuce are still missing. The police also said in their statement, “lettuce know if you have any tips.” It’s clear that whoever is handling the Hamilton Police Service’s social media is having a lot of fun.
