The day after International Women’s Day, prominent human rights lawyer Amal Clooney visited the U.N. to urge the international body to act against ISIS. Her powerful speech referenced how the U.N. was created in response to the atrocities of World War II, but today we acknowledge the genocide in Syria without doing much about it.
