Richard Marx Was Right (T)here Waiting

80’s popstar Richard Marx made headlines when he helped the staff on a Korean Air flight restrain an increasingly violent and unruly man. Marx became famous for songs like “Right Here Waiting” and for his good hair. He was traveling with his wife, former MTV VJ Daisy Fuentes, from Hanoi to Seoul when an apparently very drunk guy started attacking the crew and passengers. Fuentes wrote on Instagram that he “got crazy and started attacking the flight attendants and passengers,” including “pushing the female staff and pulling them by the hair.”

According to Marx, the all-female flight crew was not at all prepared to handle the situation and the man ended up injuring one of them and two passengers. The internet was in awe that Marx casually restrained the man using a rope, and hailed him as a hero.
