February is Black History month, and Vice President Mike Pence celebrated by sending out quite the odd tweet. He decided to honor Black History month with a tweet recognizing President Abraham Lincoln–surely one of the most important figures in American history, but not the point of Black History month.

As #BlackHistoryMonth begins, we remember when Pres. Lincoln submitted the 13th Amendment, ending slavery, to the states #NationalFreedomDay
