If for example, someone who should get a D gets a B just because of their race then they have not really learned the material and will be sent out into the world totally unprepared to work in their field. When they find themselves struggling doing the work they’ve been hired for they’ll wish that they had been given the extra help they needed rather than pushed out the door with a grade they didn’t deserve.
