So what’s the problem here, Sheldon? If you are working and going to school you should qualify to keep your benefits in Maine. And, if you do qualify, then why aren’t you upset that other people are not trying to pull themselves up like you are?
I hear you on the issue of bringing in new businesses to create jobs. But, don’t forget, if the minimum wage goes up then every company that has to increase wages will also have to increase prices to cover those extra wages. While a wage increase looks like a WIN it can spiral into a LOSE quickly.

THIS IS BS, BECAUSE I DO WORK IN FACT I WORK TWO JOBS PLUS GO TO SCHOOL AND YET I STILL HAVE A HARD TIME MAKING ENDS MEET AND FEEDING MY FAMILY. AND I KNOW PLENTY OF PEOPLE THAT ARE IN THE SAME SITUATION AS ME. MAYBE HE SHOULD STOP EATING AND TRAVELING AND STOP TURNING DOWN BUSINESS THAT WANT TO BUILD AND CREATE JOBS. SO THAT MORE ABLE BODY PEOPLE CAN GET TO WORK PLUS RAISE THE MINIMUM WAGE TO $10.00/ HR SO WE CAN GET OFF FROM PUBLIC ASSISTANCE. HE HAS RUINED THIS STATE AND MADE US LOOK LIKE BACKWARDS HICKS.
