It clearly favors Western cities at the expense of Eastern cities, since most Western Cities include their low crime suburbs in their city limits. Why didn’t you normalize out this effect by comparing metro to metro? Shoddy. St. Louis city limits is the inner 11% of its metro area, but Oklahoma City city limits is the inner 70% of its metro area. So am I in more danger in downtown Oklahoma City, or Downtown St. Louis? Suburbs of Oklahoma City or suburbs of St. Louis. If you compare metro areas, it clearly shows your are probably at danger in downtown OKC and suburban OKC than in either corresponding part of St. Louis, since the OKC metro area in general is just more dangerous according to the CQ Press Metro Area Crime Ranking. Please compare apples to apples by using METRO stats and stop distributing this DISINFORMATION. I suspect your distortion of TRUTH is intentional to generate the political comments blaming Democrats. Or it is a not-to-subtle form or racism.
