As much as I applaud the effort with the article to educate the public about edibles, the section about health concerns smacks of fear mongering. It’s highly doubtful that the woman who committed suicide or the man who killed his wife did so because of the marijuana they’d ingested. Far more likely, it was their mental issues which caused them to both self medicate with/abuse marijuana and commit those terrible acts. I also have to point out that the use of the word “overdose” in connection with marijuana is laughable. While one may become uncomfortably high or even temporarily ill from too much it’s basically physically impossible to actually overdose. Makes me wonder, how exactly do they treat those kids who are taken to the hospital for accidentally eating pot brownies.
