It’s stupid when school administrators (as well as bloggers) try to make this into an issue about girls distracting the boys with their outfits. Really it’s just about schools being able to make up whatever the hell rules they want and as a teen you have no rights so you just have to suck it up and follow them. It sucks but then you graduate. On a personal level though I have no problem with any sort of dress code. When you’re a kid school is your job and you should be dressed professionally when you’re working. Maybe if more kids were taught this during school we’d see less hideously inappropriately dressed people in the workplace. Yes, it’s really the parents role to teach their kids this but sadly a lot of them don’t so here we are.
